Chicken Steak

Using Nissi All Purpose Seasoning..

 

*Ingredients Required*

 

  1. NISSI’s All Purpose Seasoning for chicken & Turkey
  2. 3kg Turkey Wings Steak or Chicken (chicken steak or chicken leg)
  3. 3 small onions or 11/2 medium onions
  4. 6 Scotch Bonnet chill peppers

  • Rinse out poultry in lukewarm water, removing any feathers left on the skin.

  • Layer the bottom of the pot with the poultry without staking.

  • Sprinkle 2 tbsp (2 tablespoons) of NISSI’s All Purpose Seasoning on the layered poultry

  • Add the first onion and 2 diced chilis

  • Repeat the process 1-4 until all the poultry is completely layered and sprinkled with seasoning, plus the onions and chills

  • Using a ladle spoon stir and transfer to the cooker

  • 7. If only Roasted version is required, skip process 8-9

  • Cook on low heat for 10-15mins or until the natural juice from the poultry sweats out and forms the water base to cook the poultry

  • Cook on low to medium heat for a further 30-45mins, ensuring water is not dried out

  • Transfer to a foil or grease proof layered oven tray and oven bake on gas mark 150 degrees for 25mins. For roasted version, oven cook for 1hr.30mins or until desired softness is achieved

  • Add to your choice of Stew, 5-10mins before end of cooking the Stew
